Uefa Cup Wrap: Sporting, CSKA, Parma, Auxerre & Vienna Progress

Sporting Lisbon remain on course to appear in the Uefa Cup final at their own stadium after beating Middlesbrough 1-0 in Lisbon and 4-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16. CSKA Moscow triumphed 2-0 at home to Partizan Belgrade to go through 3-1 on aggregate, while Parma beat Sevilla 1-0 in Italy after the first leg finished goalless. Auxerre, having beaten Lille 1-0 in the first leg, only needed a goalless draw at home to progress. In Spain, Real Zaragoza drew 2-2 with Austria Vienna, which means the aggregate score was 3-3 – so the Austrians go through on the away goals rule.
