Hopefuls hit by serious setbacks

AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko, Bayer 04 Leverkusen defender Carsten Ramelow and Chelsea FC full-back Wayne Bridge all suffered serious injuries at the weekend to dash their hopes of starring in this week's UEFA Champions League first knockout round matches.
